Many indoor plants are well suited to the arid environments that they are exposed to inside most buildings, but even the plants that are extremely tolerant of low-humidity environments can still benefit from an occasional misting. For tropical houseplants and indoor plants that need a humid environment to thrive, having an indoor plant mister at hand to mist your plants regularly, is essential.
Sure, you could get a cheap plastic spray bottle from the dollar store, and it will do the trick, as far as keeping your tropical plants happy and well. But let’s face it, a cheap plastic water bottle is kind of an eyesore. Plus, for something you are gonna be using and interacting with on a daily basis, wouldn’t you prefer a nice-looking brass, nickel, or tinted-glass spray bottle instead?
If you are short on cash, sure, by all means, grab that cheap plastic mister so that you can have something to use to keep your plants happy until you can afford a nicer mister. But eventually, you are gonna get tired of looking at that spray bottle, and with these nice-looking, but moderately priced spray bottles, you can upgrade without breaking the bank and start misting your plants with a little bit of style.
A plant mister is something you are going to want to leave out in the open, so that when you see it, you will be reminded that you need to give your plants a quick misting. Leaving it out will give you that reminder regularly. However, if you have an eyesore of a plant mister, you aren’t going to want to have it left out in the open or on display for your guests to see. However, with the following eight plant misters, you will be proud to give any of them a coveted spot on a kitchen countertop, on a windowsill, or on your living room table. These pretty plant misters are conversation starters, and they have enough charm to leave out anywhere.
Haws 10 oz. Nickel or Brass Plant Mister

Nickel: https://amzn.to/35DqLSW
Brass: https://amzn.to/3dZIEyP
John Haws, whom the Haws brand was named after, was an english gardener who began making and selling his own watering cans back in 1866. The Haws company is still alive and thriving to this day, and the name Haws has become synonymous with high-quality watering cans and other gardening accessories. It is no wonder that the company also makes two aesthetically pleasing, high-quality plant misters to go along with their impressive line of watering cans.
If you are a seasoned gardener, you have most likely heard of the brand Haws. You may even have a watering can of theirs on your patio right now. But even if you have never heard of them, you can tell that they make quality products when you have one in your hands. The Haws 10 oz. Misters are no exception. These misters are made of 100% Nickel or 100% Brass, depending on the model you choose, and they will last for years and keep your plants happy too. The Haws line of misters are easy to clean and polish, and they will stay looking good as long as they are properly cared for. You won’t ever have to replace it or worry about it clogging up or breaking, so it’s really worth a little bit of extra money.
Sustainable Village Brass, Nickel, & Copper Misters

Brass: https://amzn.to/3ku0n41
Nickel: https://amzn.to/3dSYBHc
Copper: https://amzn.to/3ooVZW9
Sustainable Village has created a line of plant misters that are both elegant and functional. Unlike the Haws misters, these are not made of 100% brass, nickel, or copper, but just brass, nickel, and copper plated, though it is doubtful that you or your house guests will be able to tell the difference. These misters are classy looking when displayed next to your plants or on your countertops. The brass mister has a gold-like look to it, whereas the copper model looks both antique and modern at the same time. The brass and copper models are more flashy looking than the nickel model, which is more subtle, but still elegant, just in a more understated way.
There is not a real benefit to spending extra money on a mister other than aesthetics, as they all perform the same basic function equally well. The difference between different models is solely in how they look in your home, and these will look incredible. Again, the price tag for these are a bit high for plant misters, but they will most likely never need to be replaced, and as long as you take care of their finish, they will stay as handsome as the day you first bought them.
Beautify Beauties Flairosol Spray Bottle
Find it on Amazon. https://amzn.to/2Tllvxk
The Beautify Beauties Flairosol Spray Bottle is the only plastic spray bottle that we included on this list. It made the list for several reasons. For starters, it doesn’t look like the average plastic spray bottle. It has a modern-looking design and it comes in several different styles, including all-white, white and clear, all-black, and a shiny purple (for a few dollars more). This spray bottle is also available in four different sizes so that you can pick the right size for the amount of plants that you have in your home or office. It is available in 5 oz, 10 oz, 17 oz, and 24 oz sizes. It releases a fine mist that is perfect for plants, though it can be used for a variety of different household purposes.
The fine-mist spray is similar to what you get from aerosol spray bottles, but without all the chemicals and gases that come along with aerosol sprayers. Another reason why this spray bottle made the list is because it can be used at any angle for what the company calls, “360 degree spraying,” and can work sideways, and even upside down. The company product description also claims that their bottles provide 99% water evacuation, so you can be sure that you are using every last drop of water that you put into the container once it empties.
Last but not least, you can afford to get one for every room where you grow plants without breaking the bank.
Fubarbar Plant Mister
Find it on Amazon. https://amzn.to/3mnOehI
Though the Fubarbar Plant Mister is one of the least attractive models on this list, it is made from high quality materials. Also, it’s named “Fubar” bar. WTH? The Fubarbar plant mister is made from stainless steel with a black plastic spray head. It comes in three different bottle shapes, circular, cylinder, and tapered. The plastic spray head allows you to adjust the spray type for a wide thin mist, to a more direct, thin burst of a spray, though most gardeners will keep it on the wide thin mist setting for most plants. The different shaped bottles don’t have different sizes, as each holds just 10 ounces of water at a time, which is the perfect amount for most indoor garden setups. Though it isn’t as attractive as the glass, brass, copper, or nickel spray bottles, it does have a modern-looking design, and it is certainly nicer than a cheap plastic spray bottle. It is highly affordable, and if you don’t like it, it comes with a satisfaction guarantee, so you can simply send it back and try a different mister if it doesn’t suit your needs.
Ebristar Tinted Glass Plant Mister
Find it on Amazon. https://amzn.to/3ojkZOC
Okay, now that we have the less attractive models out of the way, let’s get back to the pretty ones. The Ebristar Tinted Glass Plant Misters are lovely, and they look like they are straight out of the 1920’s or like they were imported from France. These classy misters come in Blue, Brown, Green, Clear, and Purple, and no matter which color you choose, they look great.
Though these are made to look good, they are actually not entirely made out of high quality materials, the Ebristar misters have a colored glass tank, which is great, but the functional part is made from plastic and painted to appear as if it is made out of some kind of metal. For at an affordable price, it does at least look the part. If you want high quality materials and good looks, you might need to spend a bit more though.
BM Birchwood & Moss 10 oz. Brass Plant Mister
Find it on Amazon. https://amzn.to/2TnP3KH
With a steep price tag, this brass plant mister is top of the line. Birchwood and Moss make high-quality products that are as dependable as they are elegant. Handcrafted in cast brass and polished to a mirror-like finish, you will be proud to display this plant mister in a prominent location in your home. Even the logo is tucked underneath the mister so that it is hidden on the bottom side of the product.
This plant mister is made for everyday use, and the thumb plunger is ergonomically designed to provide a comfortable spray, whether it’s the first plant you are misting, or the very last one in your collection, the trigger actions should still be smooth and easy. The Birchwood & Moss misters are also leakproof, so you can keep your floors dry and clean at all times. Though the price tag is heavy for this brass plant mister, you know you are getting a high quality product for your money, which makes it a little easier to purchase.
Topadora Glass Mister & Glass Globe w/Spike Set
Find it on Amazon. https://amzn.to/37Brzdv
You get two watering aids for your order from Topadora: a mister and water-holding globe with a spike to drive into your plant’s soil, both made of attractive turquoise glass. Each holds six ounces of water. Both have pretty carvings in the glass, making these not just functional pieces but things of beauty to display in your home as well.
The cut glass will catch the sunshine and scatter it through the room, adding its own teal cast to it. The globe and spike watering mechanism is most appropriate for large containers. Reviewers say this set is easy to use and just as pretty as shown in the advertisement. The top looks like metal but is actually rustproof plastic, and users found the glass thick and durable.
OFFIDIX Vintage Style Glass Plant Mister
Find it on Amazon. https://amzn.to/2HDFAw4
This pretty mister is made of glass with a bronzed top, and it looks like something from an old-fashioned apothecary. The glass is dark gray in shade, lending even more to the vintage look. Although the top has a bronzed look, it’s made of rust-proof plastic to prevent liquid from degrading it.. OFFIDIX’s mister is so pretty you won’t want to put it away when you’re done with it and will likely instead find a pretty place to leave it in so you can get joy from it all day long.
Its diminutive size adds to the perfume-bottle design, measuring only three inches across and just over six inches high. It’s designed to be comfortable to use, with a pump top and a bronze loop for you to hold with your ring finger. Make sure to hold it upright when using it, as some reviewers state that it doesn’t work as well when held at an angle.
There are a lot of plant misters on the market to choose from, but this list has the best of the best, so that you don’t have to search for the perfect one. Any of the misters on this list will serve to keep your plants happy and humid and will help improve your home decor. Though most plant misters have practically the same functionality as a regular spray bottle, these eight models offer superior visual aesthetics, and will look great when displayed next to your indoor plants. If you care about your home decor, a great-looking plant mister can make your indoor garden area shine.

Are you kidding. Like a manual well pump com pared to elec. Gotta hold in one hand and pump the other. Spray bottle for a dollar is better.

All my plants are on the windowsill. Why can’t I find a mister that sprays down without having to tilt it?
