T5 VS. Metal Halide

Good Day Everyone

Im growing lettuce in a large 3000 sq ft aquaponic system. I will be using supplemental light to give the plants 16 hour days.

Has anyone used T5 and Metal Halide, or either.

Im looking for a comparison. Ive read everything on the internet, but am looking for some hands on information.
