Wink Do you know the meaning of the colors of flowers?

Flowers have always been a part of our life from birth to death. Certain flowers characterize important milestones in our lifetime.

But do you know the meaning of the colors of flowers?

Most color meanings I see are often tied to the flower type. Individually, I guess there are general meanings of each, like red for passion and love, white for purity, yellow for friendship and admiration and so on. I do find the colors to be more meaningful if it's associated with a specific flower, especially since not all flowers have varying colors.

I just posted a few things there myself before I saw this hehe.

Green : nurtures and relaxes the mind and body

Violet flowers: induce calm and peace

Orange flowers: signify flames of desire

Pink: flowers of appreciation

Red flowers: gets the pulse racing and induces passions

Blue is calming to the mind and soul.

Yellow denotes friendship and is energetic and spreads sunshine.

Pink soothes and is like a salve, cool and calm.

Purple flowers mean love at first sight.
