I want to know of plants that can easily thrive indoors. I've been developing a fancy putting more plants indoors because it makes the living space more "livable"
![]() The one I have now is Amaryllis also known as the goddess of the flowers ![]() |

These are Chinese Evergreens, one of the best indoor plants to have. It grows from 6 inches to 8 inches and is one of the easiest plants to maintain. It does not require more light than the light you would need to read a book and does not need much water either. The leaves are silvery grey and dark green, the plant itself prefers warm temperatures and will yellow or blacken if exposed to temperatures below 45 degrees F.

This is a Ponytail Palm. It can live without water for an entire year because of its abnormally swollen trunk which can absorb water to supply the needed amount needed to maintain its growth. All it really needs is a good source of light so it should be placed near windows where an abundance of sunlight is present. Very old Ponytail Palms often produce clusters of creamy flowers. Be aware though that Ponytail Palms grow very slowly. |
