There is nothing prettier in the spring than a field or yard blooming with crocuses or daffodils. You can naturalize these flowers, in the same way they grow the wild. Here are some other good bulbs for naturalizing: snowdrops, grape hyacinths, siberian squills, and spanish bluebells. These bulbs will bring color and variety after a long, cold winter.

Naturalizing is when you plant bulbs in places in areas where they are not naturally found, which will allow them to grow and propagate on their own, with minimal care. The best way to go about it is to chose bulbs whose native growing conditions are similar to the area you want it naturalized.
